Dear NSN Family and Friends:
Many of you know me from
being a member of the NJ/NY Chapter and more recent from having served as
the Vice President of Events the past year. For those of you that don’t
know me, I would like to introduce myself to you as the new chapter
President of the NJ/NY Metro Chapter for the 2008-2010 term.
While having served as the
VP of Events and a member since 2001, I can attest to, through my own
first-hand experiences, the benefits that come with being a member of such
an alluring organization. For reasons such as having a relative platform
to transition from one industry to another; and using the networking
aspect to build strong business alliances that have ultimately impacted my
personal and professional growth.
I am honored to have been
elected as your new leader for this chapter for the upcoming term. I look
forward to continuing and building upon the legacy that Carl Wright, the
immediate past president, and the rest of the leaders and committees that
worked under and before him ,have worked hard at achieving. I am equally
honored to be a part of this founding Chapter of National Sales Network
knowing that the origin of this great organization began right here with
the NJ/NY (formerly known as the Newark) chapter approximately 16 years
ago.
Collectively, the new
executive team is committed to ensuring that the NJ/NY Metro Chapter of
National Sales Network continues to be the premier organization for
African American Sales professionals. It is our goal to effectively employ
the many individual talents that embodies our membership.
Romans 12:3 – 8:
We have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same
function. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.
